Build your content strategy on X and get monetized.

Growing an audience on social media is very difficult. A lack of strategy leads to poor results. XStrategy is a Notion template that solves this problem.

In the process of building this system, I managed to gain more than 500 followers in 3 months, increased impressions (1.3M in August) with higher engagement while at the same time improving my writing skills. For this reason, I decided to create a public version so others can do the same.

Why X?

When Elon Musk bought Twitter for $44B, he decided to accelerate the "Everything app".

What you get:

The template is broken down into 4 sections, Quick Actions, Content, Leverage and Research. By simply filling in the databases you will begin to see the connections, what works and what doesn't. This will help you change your strategy to better suit your needs.

Quick Actions

• New Key Result: Create a new Key Result in the OKR DB database. This is for tracking progress.
• New Batch: A batch is a set of posts on a given day, usually related in theme, topic or type.
• New Post Type: Create a list of the kinds of posts you will publish. These could be to establish your expertise, knowledge, humour, etc.

Content:

• Posts Database: Use the planner to compose your posts, group them in batches and track progress. Invite others to participate. Once you start gaining some momentum, the Twitter Analytics are a great way to see what's working and what isn't.
• Products and Services databases: If you have products and services to sell, list them here, and add relations to other databases where appropriate.
• Campaigns: To promote and sell a specific product or service. Monthly calendar view (can be changed).

Leverage:

• Media databases: X is prioritizing multi-media. Images and videos make it easier to grab attention.
• Affiliates database: If you have affiliate links, drop them here to keep track.
• Community databases: X is all about making connections. Communities, lists, and spaces are a great way to expand your reach, make new friends, and learn from others.
• Monetization databases: If you meet the base requirements for monetization, you will get paid to use the app more. The more you help others, it will reciprocate.

Research

• Analytics: Twitter Analytics allows you to download data from their site. Use this database to upload a CSV and track progress.
• Field Notes: Following other accounts will often provide useful information, tactics, strategies, and ideas. You can bookmark them on X, or create more in depth notes with this database.

What this template does not do

1. Schedule and automate posts like Hypefury.
2. Connect to your X account. However, it is possible to use tools like Zapier but that costs extra.
